Villa Short

A wide-leg carpenter jort built around heavy wear, bleaching, and workwear-inspired construction. The Villa short is cut from 100% cotton denim in a relaxed BLDG4 jort silhouette, designed with oversized proportions and a structured fit. Available in Black and Antique White, the garment is finished with aggressive washing, brushing, staining, and bleaching treatments that create depth and variation throughout the entire surface.

Double knee panels anchor the front of the silhouette, reinforced with extensive screw rivet detailing and carpenter-inspired construction. Bleach markings, paint-like staining effects, abrasions, and worn areas are intentionally placed throughout the garment, creating the appearance of years of work and wear. Distressed openings and broken edges are integrated into the wash story, while the heavy brushing and fading create strong highs and lows across the denim. The reference wash imagery throughout the development package emphasizes a naturally aged appearance rather than a uniform finish.

Traditional carpenter details, including utility pockets and a hammer loop, reinforce the workwear foundation of the silhouette. The back features oversized utility pockets with additional distressing, bleaching, and frayed details, while the hem is left heavily broken with long hanging threads and raw edges. Built to feel worn, stained, and reconstructed over time, the Villa short blends utility-driven construction with BLDG4's signature approach to texture and aging.
